Black Reliquary

Roles:

Designer, programmer and tester of the project

Black Reliquary is potentially the biggest mod for the Darkest Dungeon game so far, overhauling every aspect of it. I am working in a team of well-known modders from the DD community and my tasks span different roles: programmer where I work on introducing new characters, coding their different AIs and modifying pre-existing game mechanics; designer of new characters and accessories and, lastly, I help with interviewing potential game testers. The mod was released in open beta in August 2021 after which, in March 2023, we secured its release through an official Steam Page and founded the Black Reliquary LLC.

Before the Steam page was acquired, the mod was only available on the workshop page and accumulated 35k. Through the official Steam page, it accumulated a total of 257k since the release.

Alex's Assortment of Accessories

I developed 78 character-specific trinkets of my own design which allowed the adaptation of a PVP DLC to PVE. All of this was achieved while ensuring that my mod will be compatible with any other mods found on Steam. I released the mod September 2020 and, so far, it accumulated 5.4k downloads on Steam.

Hollow Knight Themed Trinkets

Started with a small project, Hollow Knight Themed Trinkets is a mod that adds 7 trinkets with their own design into the base game, each of them being balanced properly. Mod work has started on March 2019 and was published on July 2019, managing to achieve 10.2k downloads.

Stone Story RPG
An auto-RPG with strategic combat, deep crafting and programming elements, animated entirely in ASCII-art. I worked with the team as a part-time Game Design Consultant from Jan 6th 2024 through early 2025, contributing new design ideas, refining existing gameplay elements, implementing new features, and testing updates prior to release. Since the start of 2025, I've continued supporting the project in a freelance capacity.
